I Had marble trim fall of my outside fireplace…any ideas on how to "glue" it back…need a stong glue?

You should chip the old thinset mortar off and clean the surface real good then put the piece back with fresh thinset. Since this piece is marble you want to use white thinset so the color does not bleed through.

To make it even stronger and more resistant to the expansion and contraction around the heat from a fire you should use a latex additive instead of water to mix the thinset.
